The Area

There are 2 walkable and fantastic beaches – Port Isaac less than 1 minute and Port Gaverne is a 10 minute walk.

Port Isaac is a sandy beach with rock pools, fishing trips in the Summer, local fishermen and in the Summer evenings the famous Fishermen Friends sing on the beach. Other excellent beaches locally include Daymar Bay and Polzeath for surfing. Surfing, ocean kayaking and coasteering lessons are all available locally.

The South West coastal path runs through the village and there are many other beautiful local footpaths for ramblers. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 40 minutes away with Tintagel and King Arthur and his Knights a 20 minute drive. Padstow , Rock (with Nathan Outlaw and Rick Stein restaurants) and the Camel trail and winery are a 20 minute car drive. Jamie Oliver’s restaurant is at Watergate bay, further South.

Golf
There are 2 excellent gold courses within 10 minutes. St Enodoc in Rock, recently ranked as 55 in the world and Roserrow near Polzeath

Water Skiing
Water Skiing is available from Rock where all equipment is supplied.
